Valley Gate is about three quarters of a mile along Valley Road, a minor road off the A478 just south of Narberth, reached by turning off at Narberth Bridge and following signs towards Heron's Brook and the Grove, then bearing right onto Valley Road, following the 'Coarse Fishing' sign.
If using Sat Nav, the postcode SA67 8BS directs you to 'The Valley', so continue a little further along the road. If walking from Narberth, it takes 20–25 minutes via the bridlepath (Carding Mill Lane) from the main town car park.
